About Kate

USA Today best-selling author Kate Parker grew up in the Washington D.C. area. Somewhere over the years, Kate caught the travel bug and left the city of her birth. After much wandering, she finally ended up in the Research Triangle area of North Carolina, but when she’s not writing, she’s traveling the world to research the places and people who populate her stories.

The latest release from her fertile and murderous imagination is book fourteen in the Deadly Series. Deadly Ruse is set at Trent Park House in north London in July 1943 and follows her intrepid sleuth, Livvy Redmond, as she ferrets out secrets among German POWs for Britain’s wartime spymaster.
